Join us for an evening of amazing food cooked by a local, award-winning chef;  beverages from local vintners and brewers; seeing how a pioneering local farm works; and meeting likeminded conscious foodies.

Grand View Farm is truly right in the "near country" of Washington and Baltimore. You'll be amazed how close to the city you are while experiencing world-class regenerative agriculture.

You do not need to be a Near Country Provisions subscriber to join us!

5:00p: Arrival & Drinks

5:45p: Farm Tour, led by Grand View's Nick Bailey

Award-winning local chef Zack Trabbold designed the menu around Near Country meats, and will cook for us.

Near Country Pork Shoulder (Picnic):  Marinated with herbs, citrus, local fish peppers and shallot; sous vide with confit garlic and cherry tomato; finished with smoke, Rojas sauce and raisin-almond chimichurri.

Near Country Blue Catfish:* Poached and folded into Maryland crab cake sauce, with fresh herbs & ground brioche; pan-seared & oven-finished; topped with a roasted serrano hollandaise and hot Old Bay drizzle.

Sides & Dessert: Local corn & bean succotash; Local charred asparagus; Poblano mashed potato. Strawberry Trifle.

Beverages: Local beer and wine, included.

*Note: This dish has earned Chef Trabbold a trip to the 2021 World Food Championship, after it led him to state-level victory in Maryland.

Price: $70 per person. Open to Near Country subscribers and non-subscribers alike!

Half-Off Kickback (for existing customers): If you bring someone who signs up for a Near Country Provisions subscription, you each get a $35 credit towards your next provisions!
