One-Pan Potato Recipe

I'll throw 4 large potatoes in the microwave for 8-10 minutes. While they're cooking I'll cut the bacon into lardons and cook it, reserving the fat.
Then I'll toss in an onion and a few cloves of garlic, mushrooms and a bell pepper.
Sweat all that until the onion is clear then toss in the cooked potatoes and smush them with the spatula.
Then turn up the heat and brown the potatoes.
Season to taste with salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes.
